dllhost.exe com surrogates, how do I remove it?

I was using my computer early this morning when it started going very very slow, and I looked in the processes, low and behold, dllhost.exe com surrogates are in there, at least 20 of them , taking up a lot of resources. This thing is a menace . How do I go about removing it?
