Adw Cleaner 3.304 not working

Hi,
AdwCleaner v. 3.034
When it gets to checking Browsers the application stops, though my AntiVirus and Firewall were disabled.
Unable finish cleaning unlike the first time I've ever used it.
Posting here because all other related AdwCleaner discussions are closed for now.
How can I get it to work? I have tried everything and this is day 5 of my fight with this annoying malware , adware. HELP!
