Pricechop cannot be removed even after uninstalling

On 25/08/2014 I noticed the unuasualy large number of pop-up ads on every webpage I was visiting. Susupecting something odd, I checked for unwanted adware and found Adbooster and Pricechop named wares in my Installed Software List. When uninstalling it was showing date of Installation as 23/08/2014. Symptoms were the usual too much ads on webpages which were non related and fraudulent in nature.
