Pretty much explained above...I was trying to do some video conversions, so I downloaded some software for that (stupid, I know...). After that, a lot of other programs got installed on my computer. I uninstalled those, and this seems to be the only problem remaining.
I found a bunch of threads related to this, but some of them tell me that they are following an individualized procedure, so I figured I should get one of those for myself.
Hopefully, since it seems to happen a lot, it won't be...
