I've been having trouble with Taplika this week. Uninstalled...How can I permanently get rid of it?

I've had issues with new (unsolicited) browsers in the past. Is there an easier way to get rid of them permanently, and ensure they don't come back?! I didn't do any downloads or try out new software, when this got on my computer. It seems to deactivate Windows Defender, too.
